Synopsis

He’s the best there is, in fact, he’s the only one there is! He’s Ace Ventura Pet Detective. Jim Carrey (The Truman Show, The Mask, Liar Liar) is on the case to find the Miami Dolphins’ missing mascot and quarterback Dan Marino. He goes eyeball to eyeball with a man-eating shark, stakes out the Miami Dolphins and woos and wows the ladies. Whether he’s undercover, under fire or underwater, he always gets his man…or beast. —Warner Home Video

I like Jim Carrey in serious films but I think he is not funny at all

For a formula driven comedy w/ misogynistic shades, blown out performances & a love of classic gags, it's still fun to watch.

The reason I'm in this business. If I didn't watch this movie I wouldn't be interested in acting nor film making.
