After the Harvest

Based on Martha Ostenso’s award-winning novel Wild Geese, this made-for-television drama stars Sam Shepard as Caleb Gare, a tyrannical farmer whose desire for land motivates him to treat his family like slave labor. When an enigmatic new schoolteacher named Linda (Liane Balaban) comes to town, Caleb finds the stranglehold he’s always had on his children coming to an abrupt yet certain end.
