A real invitation to a travel to forget pain, through Peruvian mountains...

It is a film opus I haven´t seen for ages... text, music and pictures - all in perfect harmony... this will resonate in me for a long long time...

Brutally beautiful and sadly not too far away from real life. It is true that in a few moments the dialogues are somewhat pretentious and overdramatic, but overall it is a great film.

the marriage of fiction and documentary in perfect harmony: this otherwise unstable, quirky, often tense concubinage manages to get over the usual asperities and difficulties of coexistence and give way to a splendour that lets nothing more to be desired. a story of deep honesty and unfaltering melancholy. the unleashed potential of dream within reality, of fairytale within gruesome unforgiving lust for profit. magic

Very beautiful cinematography, which is obviously meant to be the main "character" of the film. This is appropriate to the subject and it reminds me of Kim Ki-Duk in some ways, but... there's something missing... The image/sound/cut technique is there in all its splendour, but it lacks inner soul, somehow... It is as if they applied a recipe and forgot the inner ingredient :(

A beautiful movie, a story in which the real and the fantastic combined discrelty, but, still, there's one thing that bothered me: it seemed quite pretentious from time to time (those moments with hyper dramatic music and scenes of people cying, etc...). I can't feel like it would have been more sincere without those exagerations.

this let me speechless. poetry, beauty, death. and with this film, these are not just inflated words.

Just a beautiful screening... Also very deep, maybe too deep for nowadays.
