I love it, the story, the scenery, the characters and their lives, the music..everything so simple but in some way clings us to the screen. A really different movie!

the cutest movie i've ever watched. perfectly portrays the life of an innocent, introverted parisienne girl with a delicate touch of whimsical details of amelie's wild imagination and romantic, deadpan humor.

I could sit around worrying about all the disasters that could befall me, or I could watch this cinematic treasure. A film that is strikingly orginal as well as keeping to the rules of classic cinematic grammer. I got the echoes of Tati's Mon Oncle, while watching this film.

It's a sweet movie. It makes me dream about the coincidences of life and the true and inocennce love. And I think french language is a great match!

I've seen this once... and once was enough. I tried to like it (which in itself isn't a good sign) - it felt like the cinematic equivalent of someone force-feeding buckets of candy until I died from untreated cavities. Didn't find it funny, charming or interesting. It was, however, absolutely gorgeously shot. So there's that.

Amélie always makes me happy; I love the way it explores the simplicity of life and shows the beauty in it. Each lovable character seems to represent an aspect of my own personality.

Re watched it just now ... i could see this film a million times and never get bored with it ... always makes me happy ... probably my favorite of all time.
