Tragically hilarious and real at the same time. Life is kinda cool sometimes ! ,)
"Why is it a sign of voodoo?" "It's an unnatural cross, Mark." "What, you think when Jesus was hanging there he thought it was natural?"
Super recomendable.
I want to wrap my arms around this movie and tell it it's going to be okay, there's something to live for, JESUS TOLD ME SO!
An inspiring documentary that follows around an ambitious Midwestern filmmaker as he tries to complete one film, puts it on the sideburner, and instead finishes up a short film he started years ago. Warning sign or not, this film will either inspire you to create and make films, or abandon the idea altogether.
This film is so much better than Coven, so in that sense Mark Borchardt, you win!
it's truely inspiring to see someone who is so passionate about something that he won't let anything stand in his way, even when nobody, not even his own mother, believes in him. also the people in this film are funnier and wierder than anything that even the most skilled and creative writer could come up with.
Anyone who loves film must watch this and face Mark Borchardt in all of his glory.
