Not long after the birth of their first child, a young French couple, Paul and Laure, decide to settle in a small village in Ireland. Here, they intend to set up a community of artists in an area of woodland, thereby satisfying Paul’s keen interest in nature and Laure’s aspirations to make a career as a painter.
