Aguli Eristavi, a provincial sculptor has a dream to make something extraordinary from the marble slab presented to him by his teacher. However, after his return from the front, Aguli takes only private commissions to sustain his large family. In a nutshell, Aguli specializes in making tombstones and busts of the deceased. One day after partying with his friends, Aguli and his wife happen to pass the cemetery – Aguli’s “one man show”- where Aguli mockingly confesses that he nothing but squandered his talent. In the end, Aguli decides to give his dream marble slab to his only pupil.—Geocinema.ge
