Synopsis

A lonely android begins to experience human emotion in this low-budget sci-fi thriller. Sequestered at a remote space station, Dr. Daniel (Klaus Kinski) works to develop a race of androids with human traits. When three criminals arrive, Daniel’s prototype android, Max. 404 (Don Opper), begins to fall in love with a member of the gang (Brie Howard). But love isn’t the only thing on Max’s mind; he also exhibits the worst of human traits: violence.
