Fun adaptation of the tween novels featuring a well cast Georgia Groome and what often feel like authentic female friendships. Cute with out being twee. Certainly nothing special but does capture that selfishness of teen self inflicted neurosis. Seeing Aaron Johnson in an early role here wouldn't have made one think him capable of his subsequent roles.

I used to watch this with my sister when one of us was feeling down. It's a lovely little movie, always does the trick. No matter how predictable it is.
