4/5. Incredibile ma vero, mi trovo a rivalutare (in positivo) Woody. "Quella vecchia barzelletta, sapete… [...] Beh, credo che corrisponda molto a quello che penso io dei rapporti uomo-donna. E cioè che sono assolutamente irrazionali, ehm… E pazzi. E assurdi, e… Ma credo che continuino, perché la maggior parte di noi ha bisogno di uova."
It's very odd that, as a Woody Allen fan, I find this movie to be so middle of the road.
I guess this is allen's best film, though it's hard to tell when they are all basically the same. all of allen's roughly six jokes just kind of seem funniest to me here, so that's what i'll go on.

Essential cinema. Woody Allen's 'Annie Hall' is truly one of my all time favs. A bittersweet love story framed by the caustic wit of Alvy Singer and his memories of the one that got away. So many classic scenes and amazing lines of dialogue. Keaton just great in her oscar winning performance and one should not downplay Allen's efforts as an actor here. "my grammy...she was too busy being raped by the cossacks"
As a twenty-something, knowitall asshole I found this film annoying and forgettable. As a thirty-something with some broken hearts under my belt and a couple of ass-whoopings from life...I was so moved by it that it made me cry. What you think about Annie Hall (and Woody Allen) has a lot to do with where you are in life.
Woody Allen's classic romantic comedy about a neurotic New Yorker trying to navigate a relationship with a free spirited bohemian remains perhaps the genre's greatest achievement. At once romantic, hilarious, and emotionally searing, Allen's singular insight into what makes relationships tick is always brilliantly on the nose.
Diane Keaton is as annoying as hell. Woody is his normal neurotic self. Together they make a great comedic team and explore some facets of the psyche that aren't that common.
Despite my misgivings about Woody Allen, I thoroughly enjoyed this film. The style it was done in is interesting, there are various little tidbits of funny scenes inside funny scenes themselves and I even found myself agreeing with certain points of Allen's neurotic behavior (which almost never happens). It is a worthy comedy and contains many laugh out loud moments yet also retains some heartfelt moments.
I already belong to generation that is not able to fully appreciate 70s, that's the only explanation I can find. My ignorance aside, it's probably a really good movie.
One of the best films about relationships ever made - also probably Woody Allen's best film.
Two of the most annoying characters in cinematic history, nothing in this film made me give a fuck about them.
Breaking the Fourth Wall ,Cartoons, Subtitles,Flashbacks Its Allens first Masterpiece and it feels as fresh as ever
A real turning point in Woody Allen's career in the way he directed and structured the story of Annie Hall. We delve into his mind as we do in all his other films, but in this we see the more humorous and hypochondriac side of Allen. A classic film.
I really don't think I could ever grow tired of watching Annie Hall. Really one of Woody Allen's best works and a must watch for anyone interested in his films.
