Synopsis

A Jones-directed sequel to One Froggy Evening (or prologue as it shows that the lead character of the earlier cartoon has lived for centuries), Michigan J. Frog is shown to have caused problems throughout history to the hapless finders who tried to exploit the amphibian. Originally made in 1995, it was never released theatrically until 1998 with Brad Silberling’s City of Angels and shown in a theatrical tour with classic Warner Bros. cartoons. —The Forbidden Douchebag

After his career at Warner Bros. ended in 1962, Jones started Sib Tower 12 Productions and began producing cartoons for Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, including a new series of Tom & Jerry shorts and the television adaptation of Dr. Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas!. He later started his own studio, Chuck Jones… read more
