At the Formal

The girls in long dresses and high heels, with a corsage the same color as their dress; the boys wearing dark suits and freshly-shined shoes: in a garden full of tables laden with drinks and sparkling glasses, it seems like the typical end-of-the-year prom marking the end of the school year and bringing together young people and their parents in an atmosphere of shared festivity. But underneath that surface of apparent normality is lurking the seed of a true tribal rite, bloody and devastating. –TFF
