Synopsis

When a sex trafficking ring takes an interest in a destitute young girl, people from various walks of life are sucked into an elaborate plot to abduct her. The film is best described as a character-driven thriller built on moral ambiguity and psychological nuances rather than on stereotypes and cliches.

BABNIK is a Russian-language film which will be exhibited with English subtitles. (“Babnik” is a Russian word which translates roughly as “womanizer.”)
