Bas Ek Pal

Onir (born on May 1, 1969) is an Indian film director, editor, writer and producer. His full name is Onirban Dhar. He was born in a small town in Bhutan. In 1986, he moved to Kolkata where he studied comparative literature. He graduated from Jadavpur University in 1989. He can speak Bengali, Russian, German and Tamil. He also did a course in Film Studies at Chitrabani, Kolkata. His directorial debut, My Brother… Nikhil (2005), deals with themes such as AIDS and homosexuality. —Wikipedia
