Teruaki “Jimmy” Murakami, (村上輝明 Murakami Teruaki, born June 5, 1933 in San Jose, California), is a Japanese American animator and director with a long career working in numerous countries. Among his best-known works are the animated adaptations of the Raymond Briggs books When the Wind Blows and The Snowman. He formed Murakami-Wolf Films with Fred Wolf.
As a child, Murakami was interned with his family at the Tule Lake War Relocation Center in northern California.
Murakami was nominated for an Academy Award for Animated Short Film for The Magic Pear Tree (1968). He also directed the music video for “King of the Mountain”, the single from Kate Bush’s album Aerial.

Enjoyably cheesy B-movie knock-off from the Roger Corman factory. Pretty silly stuff, but it's fast-paced and spirited enough to be solid entertainment for cult movie fans.
