Synopsis

The Wigglers just want to get their big break, even if it means performing in drag at a Long Beach, Calif., custom car show. Chris Noel, Gail Gilmore, Mikki Jamison and Brenda Benet star as the girlfriends of the band members, with Edd Byrnes as their devious manager. The wacky action is punctuated with performances by real-life pop groups, including the Supremes, the Righteous Brothers, the Hondells and the Four Seasons.

Worth it to hear the Supremes, even if the performance is canned, they are radiant. Watching Dick Miller and imagining his inner monologue is also something I find immensely enjoyable.
