Synopsis

A writer, Ned Kendall, is asked to return to the family home by his sister Sally, to say goodbye to his father who is dying. The family home is in a very remote and isolated area. too many gaping plot holes and ill developed characters for me to care about any of these folks.

Beautifully shot and full of performances that take get straight into your heart. It didn't feel at al like it was trying to be an 'Australian' film. The story was minimalistic and it advanced very slow, but if you are expecting that you get time to enjoy all the other aspects of the film.
