Synopsis
Maria, an active and attractive woman, has a briiliant career as a TV journalist. She is a few months pregnant. She doesn’t know that the child she is carrying has decided, in the “Nowhereland”, by consulting the other foetuses in the world, that it will not be born and let the human race die out. Maria will be the only one to realise little by little what is happening and will try in vain to warn the medical authorities and then the media. A fascinating and moving dialogue begins between her and her child. Through her love, strength and joy of life, will she beable to overthrow this terrible decision… Will he manage to convince her that the time has come for men to return to the “Nowhereland”… —uniFrance

Marion Hänsel
Marion Hänsel was born in 1949 in Marseille and grew up in Antwerp. She set up her own company, “Man’s Films” in 1977, in order to make her first short film Equilibres. The bed was her first feature film. Marion Hänsel also produced all of the ten films she directed, e. g. Dust, Between the devil and the deep blue sea, Sounds of sand, Noir Océan and won many international prizes. She also produced or co-produced ten feature films of other directors (La Puritaine, No Man’s Land). —Ronda Festival Internacional de Cine
