Similar to such films as Death of a Cyclist (Juan Antonio Bardem), Hit and Run (Naruse Mikio) and, especially, The Headless Woman (Lucrecia Martel), Between Two Worlds employs the narrative motif of a traffic accident to question and explore issues of class, morality and modernity. One of the finest Sri Lankan films I have seen to date.
