It’s doubtful that you’ll learn much about Charlie Parker from this poorly made documentary. None of the people interviewed are named. Chan and Doris tell a few stories. Diz relates some memories. There are some random acted sections that contribute nothing. There is a 4 min tap dance scene to Yardbird Suite by an unidentified dancer. There’s Diz and Bird doing Hot House at the Downbeat awards which you can watch on YouTube.
Celebrating Bird is a better documentary to watch.

wow I was so absolutely entranced that i forgot to think of something to say i was imagining myself right in their and what it would be like to be in that heavan of a moment with the notes just floating like………yeah i have a lot to say anyway, i have to give this one more time, it is too beautiful…..it would take years to just break down all the emotions it plays out in every moment……jam pack the jam…..i love it
