Blackbeard

Eighteenth-century swashbuckler Edward Teach — better known as Blackbeard (Angus Macfadyen) — notoriously dominated the high seas from 1716 to 1718. In this miniseries, the ruthless pirate faces many of his greatest rivals, including unrelenting Naval Lt. Maynard (Mark Umbers). The acclaimed cast also includes Richard Chamberlain as the loathsome Gov. Charles Eden, Stacy Keach as Capt. James Hornigold and Rachel Ward as Sally Dunbar.
