Flawed paranoia movie with a great cast but a very weak screenplay. The director wants the audience to assemble a puzzle mixing subjective flashbacks coming from Kilmer's memory and objective scenes Kilmer is unaware of. It simply doesn't work. Already forgotten (and I'm not amnesic).
