Cornwall, England, may not be a big-wave mecca, but the dedicated surfers in this film make the most of what they’ve got. JC (Sean Pertwee) is the local hero, whose girlfriend, Chloe (Catherine Zeta-Jones), wishes he’d do something with his life. When JC goes out for a wild night with his mates (Ewan McGregor, Steven Mackintosh and Peter Gunn), Chloe cuts him loose, forcing JC to reassess his priorities.

not an epic movie by a long shot, but a leightweight feelgood british comedy with some epic cornish scenery, some surfing and ewan mcgregor and catherine zeta jones immediately prior to their hollywood stardom. well worth a watch.
