Alfred Hitchcock has been the most well-known director to the general public since the 1940s – and he remains so in the 21st century, more than 25 years after his death. Propaganda it may be, Hitchcock still makes a damn good suspense story out of 25 minutes, a handful of so-so actors and very limited sets.

Worth seeking out - a very entertaining wartime propaganda short from Hitchcock, supporting the French Resistance. Fantastic fluidity and sense of atmosphere despite being shot entirely in one small studio.
