The thing about musicals is that they know not to take things too seriously. Which is why Bran Nu Dae works. It's silly and the characters are outrageous enough that it passes of as good entertainment although, sadly, in some parts the story becomes a bit messy. Anyway, Geoffrey Rush, Missy Higgins and Ernie Dingo are the most fun to watch.
