Funny little film with a beautiful backdrop of Italy and many smart twits and turns

Bonus points should be given for not making this film too sentimental despite a Venice setting and theme of 'woman starts a new life'. Good performances and a likeable main character do make up for fact that it's not really funny and there is not enough for the characters to do,for it to be a drama.
