went to a 30th anniversary screening of this last night and don mcalpine spoke about it. such an awesome film. some of the cool courtroom stuff, like the split diopters looks awesome, and the film maintains such energy throughout the procedure. its also really tough in its stance about upholding the court of law in the battlefied and all the characters, whether they are on trial or not are guilty in some manner, because of the war that is going on. very complex, i would have to say one of the most intriguing films to be told in such a simple manner.
