The idea behind this film is pretty darn fantastic and original but, Scorsese was the wrong man to bring this film to life. Brining out the dead, in order to be successful, needed to be done, probably, by Terry Gilliam. In fact, it felt like Marty was ripping Terry off ,often in this film. i guess what i am trying to get at is; i never felt like i was in danger, on drugs or going fast. which are all things that i can say i felt while watching Fear and Loathing, Requiem for Dream and Trainspotting and wanted to feel while watching Bringing out the dead.
