Johnny, an aspiring filmmaker, is trying to complete his documentary film about an agoraphobic little person, Julie, when he finds out that his best friend Ryan, has asked his other best friend Elisabeth, to marry him. Since Elisabeth Hasn’t given Ryan an answer yet, Johnny hopes he might still have a chance to be more than friends with Elisabeth. As Johnny gets deeper working on the documentary, Johnny becomes more of a mentor to Julie than a director. Even going so far as to come to her house without a camera to try to convince her to go outside. As Johnny tries to help Julie overcomes her fears, can she help him overcome his own?
Johnny turns to a new untested drug, ‘the blues,’ to give him three more hours a day in an effort to balance his day job (security guard) with his dream job (filmmaker) and his pursuit of Elisabeth. When Johnny has a bad reaction to this new drug, his dealer, Tony, cuts him off, sending Johnny down a dangerous path to get more, putting himself and his friends in danger. —IMDb
