Teenage Tommy McAlpine (Luke Arnold) spends his life helping run his family’s sheep station in the Australian outback and playing soccer to make his father (Timothy Hutton) happy. But his real dream is to make it big in the music world. When he runs afoul of the law, he finds a silver lining in a community service sentence.
