Synopsis

A young playwright spends his last cent to pay the rent of struggling chorus girl in a theatrical boarding house, then he has to avoid the landlady and her bouncer. Pursuing the chorus girl, he winds up at a gambling club, where he wins big just before a police raid and a hectic pursuit.
