nope.
Entertaining 96 minutes, but not J. & E. Coen's best at all. It's funny, well structured, well acted, yet something is missing... which I can't put my finger on. Worth watching anyway...
With this movie I learned Brad Pitt can be funny, really funny. I just love his dance :)
Not much good. I was amused at times though. It's a very conventionally structured, infantile product for Hollywood by the Coens. At times I thought it was an examination of chaos. But then I realized it was all just a dildo joke.
A twisted tale, that is funny, sad, enthralling to the finish with some wonderful performances from John Malkovich and Brad Pitt. This can be held high amongst Coen classics such as Fargo and The Big Lebowski. 8/10
I realised after watching it how people hated this film so much, I really don't get it..it's my fav, I told a friend who liked "Big Lebowski" a lot to watch this one cause I thought it was even more exciting. He didn't like it at all. I love to watch this film, the story and atmosphere are very...weird, it's a lot of nonsense, not everyone can like it, personally i find it terribly funny..the actors are great indeed
Not one of the Coen bros' stronger movies for sure, but I can't help liking it. Read: "liking" not "loving". They could do better. They HAVE done better.
"Queime Depois de Ler" é a coisa mais deliciosamente banal que os irmãos Coen já fizeram. E que narrativa estilosa! O roteiro parece colocar num liquidificador as ideias originais junto com aquelas recicladas de outros filmes. Afinal, tudo faz sentido.
