Denne filmen grep meg ikke i det hele tatt. Liker ikke Haneke sin måte å regissere på. altfor lange tagninger osv. " Skjult " har også en historie som ikke griper meg og eksisterer ikke spennende. gav 1 stjerne

Unimaginative film. I feel like people are afraid to tell that they were bored watching this movie and rather state it's a masterpiece. Just because Haneke made it look and sound like an art film, it's truly terrible. Perfect example of how to make a film without ideas. Haneke is truly a great businessman.

"I feel like people are afraid to tell that they were bored watching this movie" hahah it's funny. but maybe there are people that really likes haneke, honey, don't you think? You can't judge.

How do you know there are no ideas? Because you don't know how to interpret the film? Haneke has discussed his ideas in depth through various sources yo.

A blood-chilling thriller! I am fascinated by Haneke's craft, by his subtlety, by his ability to say something new in a very original way about subjects that are anything but new.

Very challenging multi-layered piece of cinema! I thought I will immediately forget this after watching! Almost immediately dismissed that this is just another take on the thriller/whodunnit genre. But people, I was wrong. Easily one of the best films of the decade. I think I like this better than his Palme D'or winning The White Ribbon. But there is a question that lingers: who sends the tape? Let the debate begin.

As earlier in Funny Games, Haneke literally plays with us and with our fear in this movie. But in a much more "hidden" way.

Such a great film - in those scenes where there was silence and the camera wasn't moving you felt the suffering the characters were going through. Strong. Totally recommend it.

Amazing! Intense, mindblowing challenge for the brain and a tense anxiety that keeps your spirit unease for hours. He knows us to the bones and plays with us as God could do. Even his long shots of everyday situations and sounds make me unease. This movie has so many layers! The individual guilt, interpersonal alienation&deception, political&media critic, play with the audiance's expectations&conventions of cinema...

Almost loved this. The final portions just didn't complement the mood and tension developed earlier.

Brilliantly directed. The tension, how the story develops, the game between the proper film, the third invisible eye of the hidden camera and the flashbacks... The relation between both main characters, their isolation... A brilliant movie with much much to say about politics, social behavior and the inter-relations between past and present... But even more important than that, how the film constructs itself.

Those moments when you weren't sure if you are watching a tape or just looking at the house were perfect. I was constantly frustrated, by the lack of information in the dialogue, the characters...almost everything. But that's why I love Haneke, because he makes me crazy and hungry for answers answers answers until I feel as if my brain will explode from analyzing his films. Also: what a brilliant ending!

Deceptively simple on the exterior but very complex underneath - a tense, unique, very modern masterpiece. The DVD extras have to be watched and some reading should be done in order to fully appreciate the power of this film, otherwise it could be misunderstood. Multiple viewing recommended.

A film that won't leave your mind after viewing. You can't stop thinking about it, analyzing, researching, etc. Multiple viewings and an open mind is a MUST.

"Haneke says all possible answers are correct" - this statement only shows that Haneke is avery good businessman. He knows the way how to make an unimaginative film and win awards at the Cannes festival. The secret is to shot a film without any ideas about the project itself, the only thing is to set "artistic shots". These kind of fake-art films are the worst. How can anybody call it an art film?

Haneke says in interviews that "all possible answers are correct." The sender of the tapes could be Majid, Majid's son and Pierrot, or Haneke himself to get Georges to confront his demons. Cache is not a convetional whodunit, it is more of a reflection of how bourgeois society deals with white guilt. Haneke refuses to spoonfeed us the answers and lets us decide for ourselves. Brilliant.

But you do find it all out in the end!! God forbid a film asks the audience to do a little work. As with all Haneke films, he holds the audience right in his hand and constantly undercuts our perspective. CACHE is a fantastic Hitchcockian thriller with brilliant pacing, performances, and a whole lot to say about class, violence, immigration and the media.

I sit trough this empty film. All the comments and reviews praising its intelligence are empty too. Haneke found the necessary pace in the film, and it was new for this genre. I enjoyed the single shots.I felt like Haneke go for awards. I think even Haneke has no idea whos the secret person. He put artistic shots and puts some background info -thats all. You can call it genius I rather call it an ambitious film.

Just because it's subtle doesn't mean it's good. A lazy film that only gets attention because of the name behind it.

being mysteriously observed and all the consequences of the consciousness of being observed is a trully great idea in the way it plays with the characters and reveals their hidden mysteries and fears and also in the way it ingeniously plays with viewer. as for film's the inner story i found it somehow shallow in psychological and other aspects.. nice (& pretentious?) wrap of a clever idea - mediocre content

Increible. Para ponerle a uno los pelos de punta. Un retrato del desinterés del hombre blanco occidental en tomar responsabilidad de su pasado más reciente. Un aplauso
