I prefer to play with Casaguile or Casaehonda myself.
One of the two greatest scripts ever.
That Marseillaise scene gets me every time, man!
The best romantic film ever. And what an amazing lighting and awesome background music and songs.
Watching To Have and Have Not, Hawks' sidelong version of Casablanca is like watching Bacall caricaturing Dolores Moran. "Is that the cannon fire or is that my heart pounding" Yech.
One of the few old old films that I like. The story, the acting, the direction, it all stands up pretty well 60 years later. Bergman is gold.
What do you call a portuguese who cries when the Marseillaise is played on a moroccan bar with the consent of an american to the demand of a czech?
Humphrey Bogart is sure handsome. and a few life saving quotes :)it's a good watch specially with a cup of tee and a blanket.
A solid film, not great, but still very good!
required viewing if you have sensory organs.
The most overrated film of all time.
Fantastisch. Didn't realise what a good actor Humphrey Bogart is. I know, I'm a moron
What a depressing film. Good but depressing.
Here’s looking at you, kid.
A bit too dramatic for my taste. I loved the music though... The song 'as time goes by' in every scene. wonderful!
every single line of this film is a classic. yes, even the "yes" or "huh". classiest huhs from the cinema right there
This is one of the greatest dramas of all time loved Humphery Bogarts performace in the movie!!!!! :)
Maybe not as great as Citizen Kane, but it is still nearly perfect. It is one of the greatest love stories. Its story grabs me tightly and maintains my interest. But seriously, what can we say about great films like this that has not already been said?
'Think for the both of us'?
Acho que é a coisa mais triste que eu já assisti. Se não for a mais triste, é a que mais me deixa inconformada. Revejo todo ano pra fazer o final ficar mais fácil e ele simplesmente não fica.
nous aurons toujours Paris...
Capturing magic in a bottle. A perfect accident of cast, story, directing, and ending.
I love Sidney Greenstreet day on TCM
It's propaganda. It's pretty good propaganda, but it's still propaganda.
