The egocentric, charismatic and fascinating Schlingensief is the centre of this picture enchanting us with his self reflection and stories. If only his films were as interesting as he is. Fascinating to see the lack of technical or intellectual growth in his films from childhood through the nineties. Directorial equivalant of Pee Wee's bike crash saying...' I meant to do that..." with total self satisfaction.
