Milton Moses Ginsberg directs an erotic black-and-white drama shot from a single angle — through the reflection of a mirror in a Manhattan studio. The camera captures the daily activities of a depressed psychiatrist (Rip Torn) who secretly videotapes his life and his seductions of a number of women, including a former patient (Sally Kirkland). But beyond recording sexual exploits, it also captures the doctor’s own mental breakdown. –Netflix
Absolutely fantastic & breathtaking! Watches like "Chappaqua" made by Russ Meyer inspired by "Blow-Up". Very very good!
A powerful, sexually-charged character drama that takes what could have been an annoying cinematic gimmick and makes it work for a probingly voyeuristic intensity. Raw, naturalistic performances from an excellent cast. An extraordinary film.
