Synopsis
Thomas de Quincy is an early 19th-century adventurer involved with helping runaway slave girls and victims of a tong war in San Francisco. Garbed in black from head to toe, de Quincy narrates his adventures. I believe that my greatest claim to fame in grad school was showing clips from this film during my presentation on de Quincy's Confessions of an Opium Eater. I had one of the toughest professor's on the planet and even he enjoyed the randomness of it all.

Saw this years ago, and would love to see it again. It’s pretty much the only movie where you can see Vincent Price in adventure hero mode, jumping through windows in slow motion and hitting people… read review
