Jana Brejchová and Jan Kačer are really great in this movie, the tenderness, playfulness, tension, gestures, tones, virtually everything about their performances falls right at it's place. Schorm's directing is precise and poignant. Altogether it makes one of the best of the Czechoslovak new wave's movies, I dare to say...
