Four stars may be a bit generous but I thought the audaciousness of the movie needed to be rewarded. Tim Robbins offers essentially a fun-filled review of the Federal Theater Project of the 1930s focused on the tempestuous production of the play "The Cradle Will Rock." He tosses in the Diego Rivera mural for Rockefeller Plaza in for good measure, with Ruben Blades relishing his role as Diego.
