Paris, today. A tale of organized crime. Fifty-year-old Claude Corti is one of the few powerful men in the business. Prostitution, drug trafficking, counterfeit money, cars, rackets, robberies… He knows about everything that goes on in his sphere of influence and skims a commission off every deal. Only violence allows him to survive.

Thirty-year-old Franck is close to Corti but maintains his independence. Claude trusts the intelligent and efficient younger man. Corti goes down and spends a few months in prison. Just long enough for others to try and muscle in on his affairs.
