Dangerous Living: Coming Out in the Developing World

Janeane Garofalo hosts this hour-long documentary (directed by John Scagliotti) focusing on gay communities in Africa, India, Vietnam and Honduras that don’t have the high profile of similar communities in western countries. Via interviews and personal accounts of mistreatment, persecution and abuse, Scagliotti shines a light on the unique challenges that many gays and lesbians face when deciding whether or not to come out of the closet.
