When her longtime dance partner Carmelo (Daniel Rergis) mysteriously disappears, 40-something Julia (María Rojo) sets out to find him on a journey that promises to spice up her boring life forever. The telephone operator and single mom takes a train to Veracruz to find Carmelo’s brother, unaware that the odyssey will lead her to so much more. While technically it's a good film, I feel like there's something missing to the story. Although it has an ending, it doesn't feel completely resolved. Maybe it's because it's similar to real life... But the third act feels like a letdown. But otherwise, Rojo is incredible to watch. Her work here is very good.
