Synopsis

This story about depression is also about recovery and shaking off the grip of the shadows. It’s about the beauty of chance whereby the reasons for the depression are discovered and the body led to redemption. –unifrance

Narrer ainsi une dépression (pour autant que ce soit le thème de ce court métrage) est d'une prétention lamentable. Bof.

Wish I knew French but since I don't my rating is based on cinematography. Beach scene set in the 80's I assume was ok and about the only thing I enjoyed but what do you want for free.

Some short films are the equivalent of telling a bar joke. The joke here is all of the cinematic cliches of dream cinema, Freudian psychology, dislocated narratives, and visual depictions of madness.... over a lost teddy bear. Now reread the synopsis and give your appreciative chuckle. Next round's on me. --DiB
