Skeptical of the official story surrounding her father’s death while working on a top-secret weapons project, lab assistant Karen Vandemeer (Susan Ursitti) becomes determined to unravel the mystery surrounding the tragedy. For support, Karen enlists her co-worker Scott Denton, whose own dad is under suspicion regarding the circumstances of her father’s death.
