In the Dark Ages, a gypsy woman made a pact with Beng, the gypsy devil, to marry a powerful man. In return, Beng asked for her first born child. Fruit Chan Gor (traditional Chinese: 陳果), born April 15, 1959 in Guangdong, China, is an independent Hong Kong screenwriter, filmmaker and producer, who is best known for his style of film reflecting the everyday life of Hong Kong people. He is well known for using amateur actors (such as Sam Lee in Made in Hong Kong, Wong Yau-Nam in Hollywood Hong Kong) in his films.
