Dracula: The Dark Prince

Based on the history of Vlad the Impaler (Rudolf Martin), this made-for-TV drama follows the Romanian prince as he fights for peace and justice in his homeland, only to endure heartbreak and madness that transforms his story into the supernatural legend of Dracula. The film illustrates the origins of the Dracula myth — Vlad’s blood-drinking, impaling enemies with stakes, fear of mirrors and rebellion against religion.
