It captures a generation brilliantly but little to none of it resonated with me. Similar to “Breathless” in that the film now must be understood within the cultural context of then. Certainly it’s important but it’s also pretty weak on most fronts.

I do agree with the preceding Phil, that the soundtrack is great. Also for those Muppet fans out there, check out the campfire scene near the end of “The Muppet Movie”. Awesome Easy Rider reference.
