Synopsis

Wealthy heiress Connie Allenbury (Esther Williams) is suing the Morning Star for libel. Hoping to save his job, newsman Warren Haggerty (Keenan Wynn) recruits his fiancée (Lucille Ball) and a handsome playboy (Van Johnson) to trap Connie into a compromising situation.
