I couldn't put it better myself. The credits may actually have been the high point for me.
Loved the abstract visuals and sounds. Much less enthralled by the two dimensional puppet show in between.
Too poorly acted to go any further than simply marvel at how gorgeous it all looks.
Great camera work, great visuals. The actors and the story are dull but the visual aspect of the film is simply amazing. After 1h, the film become unbearably predictable..

Is a thing between a documentary on death and watching life for the first time.
Carnal, sordid, relentless, spiritual, and brilliant filmmaking. Noé has once again pushed the boundaries of narrative presentation while tackling the subjects of mortality, the life-death cycle, and the nature of time. Can't fail to mention the impressive visuals and editing: the opening credits alone utterly fried my brain. Watching this film is an experience.
Que filme do "caralhão". OK, os últimos 60 minutos são algo monótonos. Mas é aí que se esconde o simbolismo da coisa.
One of those films that lets you FEEL the scenario. Why, the first 45 minutes of this magnum opus were the hardest to go through --for its heavy-footed camera quivering made me feel so queasy that at times I had an urge to shut it all off for a while and take a walk outside. This film possesses real thrill thru it's vivdly eccentric cinematography. Brilliant Noé.
Noé sure likes to go on reverse. But it doesn't really matter which way you're going if you're stuck here forever, does it? Good job, Gaspar. You and Kubrick are the only ones until now to make me feel exactly there. You know... *there*.
this is the first film I've ever watched and have been completely speechless afterwards
Bello, anche molto, nonostante 50 minuti di troppo e 40 di inquadratura dietro la nuca che avrebbe potuto farmi dar via di matto e venir voglia di distruggere il televisore con una spranga.
A visually arresting experience with terrific soundwork. The story is engaging although some parts felt a bit long. The acting was ok but felt totally beside the point compared to the visual spectacle. For some strange reason I was thinking that this movie could viewed as a sort of "evil" version of The Tree of Life, both visually and thematically. However, I was really intrigued by this movie, despite its flaws.
