By far the most satisfying part of the "old" Evangelion series, as it takes the best from both worlds: The series engaging character interplay and psychological and philosophical discourse, and the first 25 minutes of the final film, which are the most convincing gruesome and to the point moments of the entire franchise. If only this would have been the end - a perpetual limbo that keeps us guessing.

Pointless, really. Basically a re-cap of the series, plus a half of End Of Evangelion. Should not be considered a "movie", IMO.
